St. John's Student Ministries will be doing a fundraiser at Rubio's in Hemet to raise money for a Mexico mission trip in April. We will be building a home for 3 days during Spring Break for a needy family.

Please help by passing the fliers out to family, friends, work, etc to help get the word out and plan a time to eat at Rubio's! Thanks for all your help!

During December 21 - January 1; St. John's Student Ministries will be closed so our students can enjoy the time with friends and family during the Christmas and New Year holiday's.

We'll start back up the week of January 4th. Have a super safe and fun time during your break!

Ever wonder how they build the New Years Day floats? Well you can get that opportunity to find out and help decorate them with flowers, seeds and many other plants in a huge warehouse in the heart of Pasadena, Ca.

We will be leaving the church on Monday, Dec 28 @ 12pm and returning around 1am. The cost is FREE, 13 yrs and up can join us (sorry there rules, not mine). Jr./Sr. students and your friends/family can join!

This week we are stuffing as much items as we can into shoe boxes so that kids all around the world can not only get a gift for Christmas but they will also hear the message about Jesus and what He has don't for them.

Operation Christmas Child is a program through Samaritan Purse. For more information about Samaritan's Purse, click on the link.

Bring your items, shoe box (or a plastic container of equal size), $7 for shipping/handling to your group meeting this week: HSM - Fellowship Center @ 7pm and IGNITE - Fellowship @ 6:30pm. We will wrap then and pack them up.

Calling all High school and Middle School students!!!

We will be meeting together for one night and connecting HSM (High School Youth Group) with IGNITE (Middle School Youth Group) in the Fellowship Center for singing, playing games and seeing the connection that we have in Christ!

NOTE: HSM will *NOT* meeting on Tuesday, Oct 20 from 7-9pm so that you can join us on Thursday Oct 22th!

We are getting ready to go back to Mexico for the 3rd year and build a home for a needy family through Amor Ministries. We will be having an Info/Sign up meeting on Mon. Sept. 21 @ 7pm in the Fellowship Center. Join us to learn about the trip, cost, safety, etc.

Join us as we head over to Mulligan Family Fun Center Fellowship Night Sept 18 from 6-11pm. Go-Karts, Lazer Tag, Mini-Golf, Bumper Boats and so much more. We'll be leaving the church parking lot @ 5pm. Cost $13 (everything is unlimited use excluding prize redemption games and 2 slices of pizza and drink).

There will also be Christian bands to rock out to. This will be for Jr./Sr. High school students, parents and your friends/families. Sign up by Sept 11 to get a spot.

St. John's Student Ministry is all about partnering with the parents to help guide and train up the young people in God's ways.

We want to invite the parents and the students to a BBQ to meet you, hang out, have fun and let you know what will be happening in the upcoming year here. This is a FREE Middle/High School event.

It will be held in the Fellowship Center at the church on Thursday, Aug 27 from 6:30pm - 8:00pm. It's open house so stay as long as you want. Whether you're new to the student ministries or you call it home, we'd like to invite you and your parents!

We'll be headed over to Ice Town in Riverside to cool off and have our last trip of the summer. We'll be joining Youth For Christ and other youth groups from the valley.

This is a Middle/High School event, friends invited. $12 (admission/rental)

We'll be leaving the church on Saturday, August 22 @ 6pm and returning around 11:30pm. Reply back by Aug 18 so we know how many drivers we need. If we can have some parent drivers to help please email Dave
